Presence of Mind

Sometimes I find it more interesting to watch other people crash and burn for my sheer enjoyment. I like to justify things by saying I'm learning from their mistakes!

The truth is simply that i just don't care enough to care unless it's not funny, If there is a hint of comedy in it... You're falling down that flight of stairs and I'm gonna catch it on film. Society has done a marvelous job of raising our children into their own design and we have stood by and watched and in some cases participated( how many parents own a kid harness?...Show of hands...ahhh...ahhh I knew it) It's great! Children yo-yo's and long discussions the merits and virtues of not going to bed on time because it somehow  enhances their senses and super fires their brain synapses enabling them to work harder in school and stay up later to cram for the big spelling bee! Why does a 9 yr old need a cellphone? Who is he calling? Who is he tweettin' with at 1:00am? And why do I have to hold a sec? It's an absolutley spiritual moment when  while watching a "family" show you spy something so not "family" friendly that you scramble to act dumb to what you've just witnessed at 8:00pm! Only to be schooled in the fine art of anatomy and sexual attraction "2 things I should certainly be aware of considering I already have children..gosh!" by the fruit of your loins!! Do I wash my child's mouth out with soap or give him points for oration and attention to detail? " You know your boobs in that diagram aren't symetrical?

At the end of the day you just gotta have the presence of mind to laugh at it all and have a gun license!! 

At the end of the day....It's YOUR parents fault!
